Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness allows us to see things for how they truly are in the present moment. Meditation is a practice that dates back thousands of years. It allows us to learn to build concentration. Together, mindfulness and meditation can provide the ability to stay present to bear witness to all the joys and challenges that life offers and to do it with grace, both for others and ourselves. The true power of the practice comes when we leave the studio and take it out into the world. Together we will explore three of the four foundations of mindfulness; body, feelings and mind and the heart practices of compassion, equanimity, lovingkindness and appreciative joy. These teachings will be provided in an way that is accessible to both new and experience meditators. This class with be facilitated as a group experience. Participation is encouraged.
